The traditional houses in Muharraq, the former capital, have been restored in recent years with modern details to present Bahrain's history and crafts. By visiting them we get information about the old craft "Kurar", in which braids with real golden threads are made by hand in a very elaborate way. In the "Abdullah Al Zayed" house you will be informed about the first editor of a Bahraini newspaper. We will also take a look at the small children's library and the old Majlis, the reception room of Sh. Ebrahim, a member of the ruling family.
